The Louisville Metro InfoSec Conference brings Information Security professionals, Technical Staff, IT Managers and Executives together with the Leaders in the InfoSec Industry for an informative and entertaining day of Presentations, Technical and Business/Compliance Breakout Sessions, Live Security Demonstrations, Professional Networking, awesome Vendor Booths and an excellent lunch!
This is the 6th year for this National-Level event. The InfoSec Conference is one of the only Information Security Conferences in this region of the country. The Conference will once again be held at the prestigious and world-renowned Churchill Downs.
The date of the Conference is Thursday, October 9th, 2008.
This year’s Theme is “Expanding Your Reach—Managing Information Security in Dynamic Environments”. We have several excellent presenters and breakout speakers lined up, and this year we will have three top-shelf Information Security Experts giving Keynote Presentations:
Kevin Beaver, author of many top Information Security books, including “Hacking For Dummies” and “The Practical Guide to HIPAA Privacy and Security Compliance”.
Rohyt Belani, Co-Founder of the Intrepidus Group and Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
Rohty will also be
teaching during the Web Application Security Course prior to the
